Bringing Change

Lunch events: Simply Divine packages and distributes sack lunches to the less fortunate. We have a 2 step process. The 1st step is to make the lunches. The 2nd step is to drive out and seek the less fortunate to distribute the lunches. You are welcome to join the first step, the second step, or both! Many homeless people face health problems, mentally and physically, where they cannot always walk to a nearby shelter for food. Also, job seekers need to be in one location hoping to get work that day (Home Depot/Lowes job seekers) to provide for their family. Some people may have jobs working/walking all day in the hot sun (Paleteros/Cart ice cream sellers or flower sellers) or people that can't leave their work port (fruit sellers) without guarantee of income or lunch.

Gently worn clothing/blankets/hygiene products donations: The lunch sacks was the service we started with in February 2021 and still provide, but since then we have expanded the help we provide to our brothers and sisters. We now accept donations of gently worn clothing, blankets, and hygiene products. You can call or text 760-877-0806 to schedule Simply Divine to either pick up a donation or deliver gently worn clothing to you in your size.

Volunteers are always welcomed to help with events or services provided.

Bibles: You would be amazed how many people on the streets just want a bible. We encourage everyone to please donate bibles.

Get involved: You can also get involved with Simply Divine, by posting one of our flyers in a high traffic area and catching it on video. Send the video via text to 760.877.0806. By doing so, you will receive a free acai bowl from Flavor Theory in Riverside Ca. (This only applies to Riverside County Residents)

Lead a team: You can also lead a team (friends or family) from your home for your community. You will choose to do step 1 only or step 1 and 2. All items and training will be provided to you by Simply Divine for you to operate accurately. Please call 760.877.0806 for more info.

By providing these items and services to our community, we remind our brothers and sisters who are donating and receiving that we are one!

HANDLING FOOD SAFE

At Simply Divine, we are dedicated to the safety of ourselves and the people we serve. We are certified by Riverside County to handle food safely and properly. Following the food handling safety protocol is of utmost importance to us for everyone's safety.

HELPING THE COMMUNITY

Helping the community is one of our goals, we give out a complete full sack of lunch, hygiene products requested, or clothing/blankets requested for those in need. The sacked lunch includes 1 sandwich, 1 mayo package, 1 water bottle, 1 granola bar, 1 chip bag, and we close it off with a napkin. Joining our group of volunteers, people can become empowered by their own abilities, and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential to help others, while teaching their children that there is many ways to help this society.

PEOPLE IN NEED

People in need do not have to be homeless. There are plenty of hard workers that can barely provide for their family. Sometimes, these hard workers are not even able to afford lunch. There are many workers waiting for a job at Home Depot/Lowes, or they have a job pushing an ice cream cart, selling flowers, or selling fruits in the corner all day in the sun. These people need lunches too!

But that is not all. A person in need could be a college student, your aunt, your neighbor, or friend. We all go thru different trials in our life when we are in need at times. Lets all learn to be a blessing and receive a blessing.
